The Hero Factory: a beacon of strength and security throughout the universe. It stands fortress-like in the centre of Makuhero City, impenetrable and incorruptible – until now!

A hideous collection of villains and monsters have broken out of a high security prison contained within and have fled to all corners of the galaxy.

As the Heroes battle to capture the villains, it soon becomes apparent that the breakout is merely a way to distract the Heroes from the actions of the evil Black Phantom. He has stayed behind to destroy the Assembly Tower and has triggered an automatic shutdown of our core systems.

Zib has been immobilized and contact with many of the Heroes has been cut off. They are stranded in hostile territory!

You must help Rocka use all of his training and expertise to complete his mission and reach the security panel in the Control Room. Take Hero Factory out of lock down and let’s get our people home!

During combat, keep an eye out for weapon upgrades and collectables to boost your firepower and gain access to secret areas. Keep collecting and you could be rewarded with achievement codes for use in the full game at

Buenos días desde Buenos Aires!! Wow, we are just blazing through the summer! We had an exciting Google I/O in May where we saw the launch of the Go runtime, introduction of the Backends feature, and confirmed Googles commitment to the platform with our plans to leave preview mode, not to mention the five releases since that time. We then hit the road this summer with team members appearing around the globe, including mega events like the Cloud Computing Expo, EuroPython, and OSCON.

At Google I/O, many App Engine team members gave in-depth technical sessions. Alfred Fuller, an App Engine Datastore engineer, revealed how the High Replication datastore gives greater reliability and availability for users. Michael Handler, one of App Engine’s talented Site Reliability Engineers, discussed how App Engine works in production. At OSCON, the largest open source event in the world, yours truly gave a three-hour App Engine overview and workshop to help new users get up to speed, and earlier in the year at PyCon, described how Python users can avoid “vendor lock-in” via the Django-nonrel project by porting their applications from webapp to Django, allowing them to move on to or off of App Engine as they please with only minor configuration changes. We participate in events like these because we like to communicate with users to find out what they like & don’t like about the platform, and we often take their suggestions to heart!

This fall we have a full schedule, appearing at many developer events worldwide, including Google Developer Days and Google DevFests. At the Google events, well recap App Engine and those announcements we made at I/O, and you’ll learn how to build exciting applications using App Engine and other Google cloud technologies as well as how to build games in the cloud. Here are the dates, events, and locations that we will be visiting:

Ever missed an appointment or important email because you were away from your desk? Now Google Mobile App can help with push notifications from your Google account to your iPhone -- an icon badge shows you’ve got new mail in Gmail, and Google Calendar event reminders appear right on your home screen.

We’ve also added spiffy features to get you information faster -- when looking for flight info, weather, stock quotes or currency conversion you’ll see answers before you even hit ‘Search’.

You can get the update from the App Store by searching for ‘Google Mobile App’.

If you have any questions or comments, or if you want to learn more, please visit our help center.

Update 8/24 5:00 PM PST:

• You will only receive pop-up messages and sound/vibration for calendar alerts - new email is shown using the unread count on the Google Mobile App icon and in the apps tab.
• To ensure you get alerts go to the Settings > Google Accounts panel inside Google Mobile App and switch on the notifications youd like to receive. If you initially didnt allow Google Mobile App to receive push notifications when prompted, you can enable the feature again in the iOS Settings applications Notifications panel.
