Moving on to the new Galaxy Note 3 Neo images, these further confirm the striking similarities between the slightly smaller handset and the original Note 3 (pictured on the right), including the faux leather back cover and the S Pen stylus position.
As previously reported, the Note 3 Neo (initially known as Note Lite) features a 5.55-inch Super AMOLED display with 720 x 1280 pixels, 8MP rear camera with Flash, 2.1MP front-facing camera, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal memory (expandable via MicroSD), and a promising 3,100 mAh battery. It currently runs Android 4.3 Jelly Bean, but it should be updated to 4.4 KitKat (when it might also get Samsung’s new Magazine UX).
There will be two Galaxy Note 3 Neo versions: SM-N750 (with HSPA+ connectivity) and SM-N7505 (with LTE). It appears that both are using the six-core Exynos 5260 SoC and a Mali-T624 GPU.
AnTuTu benchmark tests seem to show that the Note 3 Neo performs better than the Samsung Galaxy S4, but its still not on par with the original Note 3.
Samsung could officially announce the Galaxy Note 3 Neo in February at MWC 2014.PhoneArena
